Because of some recent confusion, we want to make clear that everything on this site is by and for former Rotary exchange students.  However, we believe that this site is also a great resource for accepted and prospective exchange students.  But nothing on this ROTEX site should be considered to be an "official" Rotary resource.  Exchange students must follow the rules governing exchanges which are established by their districts and/or clubs!

I will occasionally update this page with the latest developments.  Right now just about everything is new.  We have receive some new funding from Rotary Eastern States Student EXchange (ESSEX) for my ROTEX message board, this domain name, and some help with the web hosting.  The ESSEX website can be found at http://www.exchangestudent.org if you are interested.  The site has been redesigned and moved to a new web hosting service (http://www.jersey.net) which I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an ISP that is willing to work with you to meet your needs. 

Within a few weeks, the new ROTEX directory will be available which will permit people to enter their names directly into the directory.  Be sure to check out the new chat options using ICQ's Active List on the chat page too!
