Welcome!  This ROTEX site is intended to provide a meeting point for present, former and potential exchange students.  This site is also the new home of the Directory of Former Rotary International Exchange Students which allows ROTEXers to add their own name, contact information and a synopsis of their exchange (and post exchange) experiences. 

But the ROTEX directory is only one of the resources which has made this site so successful over the years.  The ROTEX message board has been extremely popular for a number of years and the ROTEX chat has seen many faces in the past two years.

These resources (and many more) from the old site are now moving to this site.

I hope that this site will continue to grow in coming years to provide more new, interesting and helpful ROTEX and exchange related resources.  I have lots of ideas for possible additions to the site (and I'm alwaysto new ones).  But can't do all these things alone.  If you have time to help, please read the "Help Me!" page and drop me an email.  If you have any suggestions for new content for the site (especially that you would like to prepare), let me know.

And if you are a member of a ROTEX club not already mentioned on this site, drop me a note and I will add a link to you!

I hope you will stop back frequently - the site improvements will be continuing in the coming months.  In the meantime, enjoy the site!

Note:  Because of some recent confusion, we want to make clear that everything on this site is by and for former Rotary exchange students.  However, we believe that others may find this site informative also.  Nothing on this site should be considered to be an "official" Rotary resource.  Exchange students must follow the rules governing exchanges which are established by their districts and/or clubs!
